For Dave Kuhnau, running began as a way to get in shape, but it quickly became more than just a hobby. When 5Ks stopped feeling like a challenge, he moved on to triathlons. And when those lost their shine, he turned to ultra-running—races over 30 miles, sometimes into the hundreds.

“Dr. Krabak has really been along for the entire journey,” says Dave. From the Gobi Desert to Antarctica, he’s been Dave’s “go-to” for wellness maintenance, staying in top form, and “sanity checks” when they’re needed.

“I view him as…a partner to what I’m trying to achieve.”
